Melissa Braillard Receives the Terri S. Chastain Award for Outstanding Fundraising Professional

Orlando, FL, Nov. 3 — WUCF is proud to announce that Melissa Braillard, Director of Community Impact, was named the recipient of the esteemed Terri S. Chastain Award for Outstanding Fundraising Professional. Melissa’s unwavering commitment to WUCF and her exceptional fundraising efforts have truly earned her this recognition.

"I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our Central Florida community and advance the mission of WUCF,” said Melissa Braillard,Director of Community Impact. “Through fundraising, we are allowed to make a real difference in the world and see positive change happen right before our eyes. When we come together to support our favorite non-profit organizations we can accomplish amazing things."

Melissa has worked for over 22 years in the philanthropy and nonprofit space, giving the Central Florida community and beyond a chance to experience the arts and culture. The Terri S. Chastain Award for Outstanding Fundraising Professional is a testament to Melissa’s passion for creating positive change and her ability to inspire others to join in her mission of celebrating the arts.

The award will be presented at this year's National Philanthropy Day celebration on Friday, November 3, in Orlando. The event is organized annually by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, recognizing outstanding contributions of individuals, organizations, and corporations in Central Florida that are dedicated to making a positive impact on society. The National Philanthropy Day celebration serves as a platform to honor those who have made a difference through their philanthropic endeavors.
