On My Way To K with PBS KIDS helps caregivers feel more confident about kindergarten by showing how everyday moments already build the skills kids need. It gives a clear picture of what to expect, what learning really looks like, and a few simple ways to build on what you’re already doing, without adding more to your plate. Along the way, you’ll see how these skills connect to your favorite PBS KIDS shows, with easy ways to keep the learning going.
This webpage is organized to make things easy to find. In our Summer Tour section, you can see where we’ll be and register for in-person experiences. In On My Way To K Resources, you’ll find the On My Way To K guidebook, plus videos and printables you can use anytime to help your child get ready for kindergarten.
On My Way To K Summer Tour

This summer, WUCF is taking On My Way To K on the road.
We’ll be in communities across Central Florida helping caregivers feel more confident in getting their children ready for kindergarten. Held throughout June and July at local libraries, these free, drop-in events are open to children ages 2–8 and their caregivers.
At each stop, families can jump into simple, hands-on activities, connect with our team, and explore early learning through creativity, movement, social-emotional growth, and problem-solving. Activities are adaptable for children of all abilities, and every location includes a sensory-friendly space.
You’ll see how everyday moments already build the skills children need for school, and how those skills connect to your favorite PBS KIDS shows so the learning can keep going at home.
No pressure. No long workshops. Just real conversations, simple ideas, and a chance to walk away feeling more confident about what comes next, with take-home resources to support you along the way.
We can’t wait to see you.
Let’s get on our way to K.
