A new six-part, 12-hour documentary series from Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, which explores the country’s founding struggle and its eight-year War for Independence, premiering Nov. 16.
WUCF's America250 initiative is a three-year project celebrating the founding of our nation 250 years ago. Through new local and national content, community events, and educational programs, we explore themes of civic engagement, history, and unity. This initiative connects Central Floridians of all ages and backgrounds to our shared past while inspiring active participation in shaping our future.

Join WUCF and Winter Park Library for Dishin’ Democracy, part of the nationally recognized Americans and the Holocaust exhibition. Hear from a Holocaust survivor and local historians in a powerful, WUCF-moderated conversation on how one generation’s experiences shape our collective history. Light bites will be served.
Winter Park Library is one of just 50 libraries nationwide selected to host this traveling exhibit from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association.
