What is Ready to Learn?
WUCF was awarded a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and PBS to extend the reach and impact of PBS KIDS early learning resources to local communities. Ready To Learn allows PBS and stations like WUCF to create and share high-quality, educational children’s media on TV, online, and in our community.
If you’re a fan of PBS KIDS, then you’ve probably already seen Ready To Learn in action! Shows like Work It Out Wombats!, Molly of Denali, and even old favorites like Sesame Street and Clifford the Big Red Dog have all been funded by Ready To Learn.
WUCF is piloting new PBS KIDS resources in our very own Osceola County community. Our Ready To learn workshops dive into concepts and characters from Work It Out Wombats! and Lyla in the Loop to foster multi-generational learning and practice skills like computational thinking.
