WUCF 89.9 FM adds two new primetime jazz programs to the weekly lineup.
Beginning Monday, October 8th, MAGAZINE launches at 7 p.m. and features the best of Central Florida jazz. The weekly program highlights stories about the jazz community, the local art and jazz scene, album reviews, history and listener-generated content. The program will re-air on Sundays at 7 p.m. weekly.
Each weeknight, listeners can tune in from 8 p.m. to midnight for another new program, NIGHT FLIGHT. Featuring a blend of classic and contemporary jazz, the program is designed to help listeners relax into the night.
“WUCF 89.9 has a very loyal and active jazz community and we’ve taken their feedback to create these two new shows,” said Dr. Phil Hoffman, WUCF Executive Director. “We’re proud to provide this kind of content only found in public media and we’re looking forward to growing this genre and reaching new audiences.”
