Orlando, FL This week, Florida Road Trip  stops in Winter Garden, a quaint community 15 miles west of Orlando in West Orange County. Winter Garden not only become a desirable location to live, but also a community that attracts visitors who are looking to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. This episode includes stories featuring The Historic Edgewater Hotel, Lake Apopka, and the West Orange Trail.

“One of the standout moments from this season was our bicycle adventure along the West Orange Trail, which beautifully weaves through the heart of downtown Winter Garden,” said Heather Bailey, Executive Producer of Florida Road Trip.“We were honored to have Linda Chapin, the first Mayor of Orange County, join us at the park office for the trail named in her honor. She passionately recounted the history of this trail construction and emphasized its contribution to the development of trail systems throughout the state.”

While many associate the rise of tourism in Central Florida with the opening of Walt Disney World in 1971, Winter Garden has a history of tourism dating back to the 1920s. This episode explores the story of how this charming little city made itself a travel destination.

For the first time ever, the new season will debut 10 episodes to celebrate Season 10:
