Broadcast Engineer:
The Broadcast Engineer serves as the functional team lead for WUCF's broadcast information technology, overseeing the station's 24/7/365 technical operations. This role is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and future development of all broadcast-related IT infrastructure, including IP-based digital transmission/transmitter hardware, internet streaming technologies, IP-based audio/video systems (recording, playout, editing, switching, encoding, decoding), automation systems, and server infrastructure. The position requires a deep understanding of broadcast engineering principles, IT networking, and streaming technologies, as well as the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a broadcast environment.
